I’m intrigued by the objects and places that create a feeling of home. My life has been transient for many years. Given my frequent experience of moving and integrating into new communities, I have grown to appreciate the quiet scenes that convey an embedded history of stability and comfort.

These paintings also reflect some of my first explorations with watercolour, as I began using this medium at home during the pandemic lockdown and drew inspiration from the things I was locked in alongside.
